Quality of number 10, transition points where something suddenly transforms into something else

This are the astrological aspects based on number 10:

  • decile, 36º
  • (tri)decile, 108º

The decile aspect (harmonic 10) belongs to the family of cultural self-organization aspects (harmonic 5), which derive from the division of the circle (360º) by the number 5.

To understand better its meaning, the number 10 can be decomposed into 5 * 2, because it shows thecombination of the cultural self-organization of  number 5 (quintile), with the division and polarity of the number 2 (opposition).

According to Edgar Cayce, the number 10 represents 'the strength of the small number', referring to what is now known as the 'butterfly effect', a name coined by Edward Lorenz, which derives from the theoretical example in which the formation of a hurricane being contingent on whether or not a distant butterfly had flapped its wings several weeks earlier.

The nonlinear quality of the number 10 is typical of chaotic systems that have evolved towards the bifurcation point, in which apparently insignificant events acquire a decisive influence, while others apparently of great magnitude pass entirely unnoticed, according to their quality with respect to the nature of the bifurcation point.

The decile is related with the transition points towards new directions, in which something suddenly transforms into something else, such as when the water changes state and becomes ice or steam.

Clasification of astronomical centaurs

The main orbital feature of the astronomical centaurs is its high eccentricity. Most of the astronomical centaurs are objects with orbits in transition. Their orbits are unstable because they cross the orbits of the giant planets without being protected by resonances. Their astronomical lives are of the order of 10 to 100 million years; very short, although spectacular.

There are six types of astronomical centaurs due to the situation of its perihelion, aphelion and semimajor axis:
  1. Survival centaurs, they are related to the physical body, biological functions and also with emotions and the survival instinct. Their orbits are connected to the Earth-Moon system, Mars and the main belt.
  2. Classical centaurs I, they are related to self-control and self-regulation capabilities. Their orbits are connected to Jupiter and Saturn.
  3. Classical centaurs II, they are related with the incorporation of the new in a safe way. Their orbits are connected to Saturn and Uranus.
  4. Classical centaurs III, they are related to innovation and esotericism, empathic understanding and mysticism. Their orbits are connected to Uranus and Neptune.
  5. Cyborg centaurs (half machine, half human), they are related to robotics, telematics and informatics. Their orbits are connected to the Kuiper belt.
  6. Aquatic centaurs, they are related to emotional and social intelligence and anthropology. Their orbits are connected to the scattered disc.
  7. Spiritual centaurs, they are related to intuition and spiritual awareness. Their orbits are connected to the inner Oort cloud.

Scattered disc objects with very low aphelion, emotional awareness

Scattered disc objects with very low aphelion are related with emotional awareness that reinforce the connection with everything is happening at the present moment. In this process, emotions go with consciousness and regulate it.

Quality of number 16, fast action in an environment full of unpredictable obstacles

This are the astrological aspects based on the number 16:

  • semioctile, 22º30'
  • (tri)semioctile, 67º30'
  • (penta)semioctile, 112º30'
  • (hepta)semioctile, 157º30'

The semioctile aspect (harmonic 16) belongs to the family of tense aspects, which derive from the division of the circle (360º) by the number 2, as the opposition (harmonic 2), the square (harmonic 4), and the semisquare or octile and sesquicuadrate or trioctile (harmonic 8)

However, among the multiple ways in which the number 16 can be decomposed, the one that best allows to understand its meaning is 2 * 8, because it shows the blockade of number 2 (opposition) with the alert states the number 8 (semisquare or octile and sesquicuadrate or trioctile), which allow to react quickly to blockages, so that the action flows frantically without stopping at anything.

Trines generate automatic processes, whose execution and speed improve progressively, but they need a lot of practice to reach the maximum degree. In addition, the trines are extremely resistant to modification, once the action is started, it is executed exactly in the way learned from beginning to end. In contrast, semioctiles do not need training and can be applied to unpredictable situations to adapt to (or generate) all kinds of obstacles as the action develops.

"The Bourne Supremacy" (2004)

In the following video you can easily see the differences between number 8 and number 16: at the beginning, the child is still, but observant and alert, because he does not know what action the man is going to initiate (semisquare or octile), then he has to keep attentive and alert as he picks up the jacket from the ground, because he does not know at what point he will have to interrupt the task in progress to respond to the man's action (sesquiquadrate or trioctile); and in the end, a fast and frantic action develops between the man and the child (semioctile).

35 AU, interaction

The distance of 35 AU is located at half way between Neptune (30 AU) and the beginning of the core of the Kuiper belt (40 AU), the medium receptivity of Neptune is combined with the electromagnetism of the Kuiper belt. 35 AU is related with telecommunications, and therefore, with interaction.

Classical Kuiper belt objects with the perihelion around 35 AU and the aphelion around 40 AU or 45 AU are related with telematics (combination of telecommunications and informatics).

Classical scattered disc objects have the perihelion around 35 AU, were the emotional and social processes are reinforced by interaction.

Scattered disc objects with very high aphelion, socio-cultural anthropology

Scattered disc objects with very high aphelion are related to socio-cultural anthropology, which is oriented to understand the differences between cultures, religions and social structures developed by people in different places and circumstances, like different countries, cities, areas, companies, franchises, subsidiaries, departments, and so on.

"Since humans acquire culture through the learning processes of enculturation and socialization, people living in different places or different circumstances develop different cultures. Anthropologists have also pointed out that through culture people can adapt to their environment in non-genetic ways, so people living in different environments will often have different cultures. Much of anthropological theory has originated in an appreciation of and interest in the tension between the local (particular cultures) and the global (a universal human nature, or the web of connections between people in distinct places/circumstances)." (Wikipedia: Cultural anthropology)

Scattered disc objects with very high aphelion are especially oriented to the integration of different groups. They have a special ability to understand different cultures, religions and social structures, and can operate as mediators between different social groups, like the flying red dragon, unifying of clans in the movie "Avatar" (2009).
